Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a comprehensive healthcare system that has been refined over thousands of years. It is based on the understanding that the body functions as an interconnected whole, and that health depends on maintaining balance within this system. TCM uses evidence-informed approaches such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, and individualized lifestyle recommendations to support the body’s natural ability to regulate and heal itself. Research shows that TCM can be beneficial for stress reduction, digestive health, sleep regulation, pain management, immune support, and enhancing overall well-being.

During your session, we’ll begin with a brief conversation about your health concerns, medical history, and goals. Based on this, a personalized treatment plan will be created. Very fine, sterile, single-use needles are then gently inserted at specific points on the body to influence circulation, regulate the nervous system, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Most patients find the experience deeply calming, and many leave the session feeling more balanced, relaxed, and restored.

Yes. As a nationally board-certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist (NCCAOM), I bring the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine into my health coaching practice. This means your plan goes beyond surface-level advice and is tailored to your unique constitution and wellness goals. Drawing on my training in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, yoga, Reiki, and sound healing, I design holistic coaching programs that integrate Eastern wisdom with modern wellness strategies. These may include nutrition guidance, movement practices, stress management tools, and lifestyle recommendations to help restore balance, improve resilience, and support long-term vitality.

Yoga is a mind-body practice that supports both physical and mental well-being. Physically, it helps improve flexibility, strength, posture, and circulation while easing muscle tension and supporting joint health. Mentally, yoga encourages mindfulness, reduces stress, and promotes emotional balance by calming the nervous system and improving focus. Regular practice can enhance energy levels, support better sleep, and create a greater sense of resilience in daily life. Because yoga meets you where you are, it can be adapted to fit your individual needs—whether you’re seeking relaxation, strength-building, or support for overall wellness.

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice that works with Ki, the body’s vital life force, to restore balance and promote wellness. Rooted in the Usui system, the original style of Reiki, it channels universal energy through the practitioner’s hands—either with light touch or just above the body—to support the flow of Ki throughout the body. From an ancient perspective, Reiki helps clear blockages and harmonize energy along pathways that closely correspond to the meridians used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual balance. Many people experience warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation during a session, which can help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, and support the body’s natural healing processes.
