Meet Milana Shaikh, L.Ac., Dipl.OM
Founder of Flora & Qi Wellness
I specialize in helping women restore hormone balance, digestive function, and nervous system regulation through personalized, root-cause care.
Flora & Qi Wellness was created for clients who feel chronically bloated, inflamed, anxious, hormonally off, or exhausted — even when they’ve been told their labs are “normal.” My work focuses on regulating the gut–hormone–nervous system axis so the body can return to a state of stability, clarity, and resilience.
My Approach
Chinese medicine views digestion, stress, and reproductive health as deeply interconnected. Rather than chasing symptoms, I assess underlying patterns that drive imbalance including stress physiology, digestive weakness, inflammation, and blood or hormonal disruption.
Each treatment is intentional, structured, and individualized. Care is designed to unfold over time, with clear expectations and a treatment plan that supports lasting change — not temporary relief.
This is not a spa model or one-off wellness experience.
It is clinical, relationship-based care.
Training & Background
I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist with over 2,500 hours of clinical training and a Master’s degree from the New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS.
My clinical background includes:
Women’s health and cycle regulation
Digestive and stress-related disorders
Internal medicine and constitutional care
Pediatric acupuncture
While I draw from multiple acupuncture lineages, my treatments are grounded in classical diagnostics, modern physiology, and nervous system-informed care.
Who I Work With
My practice is best suited for clients who:
Want root-cause care rather than symptom suppression
Are open to committing to a structured treatment plan
want intentional, one-on-one care and are ready to support their body beyond quick fixes
Prefer natural, integrative approaches
This practice may not be the right fit if you are seeking a single session for relaxation only.
Beyond the Treatment Room
In addition to private care, I guide small group experiences focused on nervous system regulation and restorative practices. These offerings are secondary to my clinical work and are curated intentionally.
Outside of practice, I spend my time hiking, cooking nourishing meals, practicing yoga, and creating — all of which inform the grounded, present approach I bring to patient care.
